Overview
Pinealon is a synthetic tripeptide with the amino-acid sequence Glu-Asp-Arg, commonly abbreviated EDR. Its defined sequence makes it a distinct material for experimental peptide research.
This product contains 10 mg of Pinealon per vial. It is supplied as research material for laboratory work and is not presented as a medicine, food, supplement or product for human or animal use.
Mechanism and research
Pinealon has been studied in experimental models of cellular stress and neuronal function. A published rat study examined prenatal hyperhomocysteinemia, behavioural measurements and the response of cerebellar neurons to oxidative stress. These are preclinical findings from a specific model, rather than evidence of a clinical benefit in people.
The sequence Glu-Asp-Arg distinguishes Pinealon from other short peptides such as Epithalon. Researchers comparing the literature should therefore match the full compound identity and experimental model rather than relying on a shared peptide category.
Strength and packs
Each vial contains 10 mg of Pinealon. Select one vial for 10 mg total content, two vials for 20 mg, or three vials for 30 mg.
The 10 mg strength describes every individual vial. The pack choice changes the number of separately supplied vials, not the content of a single vial.
